XXSoem CPU subsystems

Combining a high level of system integration, application specific performance and reliability with a very low power consumption, mycable's XXSoem modules are the solution for embedded networking and multimedia systems. The modules combine a complete CPU/memory subsystem on a highly integrated PCB, and can be combined with application specific system boards, which have no need for a sophisticated PCB technology anymore. A comprehensive system software is provided with all CPU modules, consisting of a bootloader, an up-to-date Linux kernel and root file system, including source code and software tools. The use of XXSoem modules leads to further advantages:

XXSnet2

The module provides a complete CPU/memory subsystem on a highly integrated PCB, and can be combined with application-specific system boards, which do not need sophisticated PCB technology anymore.
 
Development kits allow simultaneous hardware and software development. Using the XXS NET2 module leads to further advantages: rapid evaluation and selection of system key components, shorter time to market, reduced development costs and lower production NREs. Product platforms with several derivatives can be implemented effectively.
 
A comprehensive software ecosystem based on Yocto is provided with the CPU module, consisting of a bootloader, an up-to-date Linux Kernel and a root file system, including source code and tools.

The design of the XXSQ701 module is based on the Cavium ARM11 dual-core CPU and meets industrial temperature range requirements. The module compies with the Qseven form factor and interface, allowing simple integration into Qseven baseboards.

 The key aspect of the CPU is its high network performance. Furthermore the board features three 1GBit ethernet ports. The module is the perfect solution for embedded network and multimedia systems.

A comprehensive software ecosystem is provided with the CPU module, consisting of an bootloader, an up-to-date Linux kernel and a root file system, including source code and tools. For evaluation of the module mycable provides a development kit.
